Paris-Brest-Paris 2015 – done and dusted! Congrats all!

16-20 August. Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 2015 – 1230km. PBP is about cycling but more than that, it’s about the people!  What a showcase for human endurance. With more than 4000 starters, we are waiting for the final results … What we can say is congratulations Gerrit and the South African contingent! Brilliant effort!

Gleaned from various first-hand accounts: good weather, no major spills (that we know of), and an amazing cross section of riders from around the globe – not quite a wine route tour but lots of adrenalin, sleep monsters and an overwhelming belief in the power to succeed! Wish we were there.

Some details of Cyclec friends doing the ride:

Gerrit. Great ride – 1230km in 86 hours and 56 minutes

Barry. 86 hours – on the button!

Kenneth. Made it to Brest. Well done!

Cyclec supplied Gerrit and Kenneth with SP Dynamo hub and lighting solutions for the ride.
